email coming at you on the same day! I have mentioned to you all that the CVCBD
has some greening grants available for block and community projects. I just
wanted to give you some more information on that.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

face=Arial size=2>There is a committee of community members who will review the
grants, and you may apply for any amount between $50 and $500. You must
give a comprehensive and detailed list of the tools and supplies you need, and
how much they will cost. You must apply before the project date- we can not
reimburse you for any projects that have already been
started.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

must go out and buy the needed tools and supplies yourself. Then do your
project. Take lots of pictures! Submit a follow-up report with your pictures and
receipts to us within 30 days of your project. You will receive a check
that will reimburse you for the money you spent on the project. Make sure you do
not buy things for your projects that you did not ask for in your original grant
application! You may not be reimbursed for anything purchased that was not
approved by our committee.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

<DIV><SPAN class=250403021-20042006><FONT face=Arial size=2>Yes, it's a little
complicated. Sorry folks. Free money is never easy! If you need help with the
application, please let me know. I can assist you, and work with you on securing
the grant for your block. The biggest thing I did not realize until now is that
the money has to come out of your pocket first, and then you will be reimbursed.
I hope this does not discourage anyone from utilizing the grant funds. Be sure
to let me know when you will be doing your projects. I want to help, and can
take digital pictures! Unfortunately, I will not be available any weekends in
May, due to being out of town and moving. </FONT></SPAN></DIV>
