[Chat] fleas?

I've used Frontline too, though I switched brands at
one point so I'll have to check the package when I get
home. The liquid I have currently is the one
recommended by Dr. Slajchert (I hope I spelled that
right -- anyway he's the vet at Vinson's on
Greenmount). It protects the cats from ticks, fleas
and heart worms, which Dr. Slajchert said can quickly
be fatal to cats.

I found Dr. Slajchert to be pretty pricey relative to
my old vet. He has the advantage of being near enough
to walk to so I'm probably going to buy more of the
liquid flea stuff from him and I may use him for
emergencies, but I'll probably take the cats back to
the Metro Cat Hospital in Owings Mills for routine
checkups. Checkups for three cats cost me on the order
of $200 at Vinson's last year, where Dr. Siegel
charged about half as much for essentially the same
service.
