Did you know that the City has a web site with "snow" information? It is:
www.396snow.com
It is especially important to note that there will be no trash collection
"until further notice" - my apologies to the gentleman on Guilford that I
gave wrong info!

The following information is from the web site:
Phase II of the Snow Emergency Plan still in effect
The Baltimore City Office of Transportation is strongly encouraging
motorists to remove their cars from designated snow emergency routes to
avoid being ticketed and towed. Phase II of the Snow Emergency Plan is still
in effect until further notice. Phase II requires that all vehicles
traveling on city roadways be equipped with snow tires, all weather radials
or chains. In addition, parking is prohibited on all designated snow
emergency routes.
Citizens whose cars have been relocated should call the city's 311 line to
find out where their vehicle was taken. In addition, the Fallsway Impound
lot has temporarily extended its customer service hours so that citizens may
retrieve their vehicles. The Fallsway facility is now open daily from 7:00
a.m. until 12:00 midnight until further notice.
Please note that trash collection and bulk pick-ups have been postponed
until further notice. Citizens are asked to please clear snow from fire
hydrants and storm drains while shoveling out from the storm.
