Abell Community Street Fair
Sunday, September 21, 1:00 - 6:00 p.m.
   This year's Abell Community Street Fair promises to be bigger and better
than ever, with all of the features you have come to expect — great live
music, kids' games and entertainment, a flea market, and the best bake sale
in Baltimore — and exciting new events: an All-You-Can-Eat Crab Feast, a
beer garden, and a live auction with a professional auctioneer. As always,
area 12 parking permit applications will also be available.
   To arrange for a table at the flea market, contact Tricia Kennedy
(410-467-4384).   Tables cost $5 for AIA members and $10 for non-members;
tables for nonprofit organizations are free.
   To ask a question, contact Jennifer D'Urso  (410-235-1962;
j-durso at uchicago.edu) or Annie Applegarth (410-366-6557; apple1159 at aol.com).
   End-of-Summer Crab Feast Please join your friends and neighbors for an
All-You-Can-Eat Crab Feast, with traditional side dishes, at the Abell
Community Street Fair, 2-6 p.m., $20 at the "door" or $15 in advance. To
pay in advance, mail your check (not cash) to Patricia Owens, 3011 Guilford
Ave., by Tuesday, September 16. Label the outside of the envelope "Crab
Feast," and inside list each person covered by the payment.
   Live Auction at the Street Fair This year's auction will be better than
ever! Donations include a wine tasting and dinner at Belmont Manor in
Elkridge; certificates to several restaurants, including Sasha's in Mount
Vernon; tickets to the upcoming Cher concert and other concerts this fall;
signed paraphernalia from artists and musicians; items from local
businesses, including Eddies, The Bead, Images, The Shops at Homewood, Video
Americain; and MUCH, MUCH MORE!
