[Chat] JHU Spring Fair, April 23-25

The annual Spring Fair is going on this weekend on the
Homewood Campus from noon on Friday through Sunday
evening!

"Fair is a unique event in that it is successful in
attracting both members of the student body and of the
community at large. Every year Spring Fair showcases
food, music, and art in addition to providing carnival
rides, children's shows and activities.

concerts and entertainment and larger evening
concerts. ... there are often 20 different food
vendors, 40 different arts and crafts vendors, and
about 40 non-profit groups."

"Revenge of the Nerds" begins Saturday at 1 pm and
Mayor O'Malley's band will play on the Shriver stage
from 3 to 4:30 pm. Also, the Sigma Chi's will be
running three different booths to raise money for the
Children's Miracle Network, which funds 170 non-profit
children's hospitals across America. More info can be
