My brother's room is at the front of the house and he
reported that a Mocking Bird that sings car alarms and
other greatest hits has recently moved in. It likes to
wake him up around 2 am.

A few years ago I moved into an apartment community
that did not allow car alarms, specifically to get
away from that problem. But, in the first week, a
Mocking Bird that sang car alarms moved into the tree
outside my window. I put up with it for a week and
then asked the management to encourage it to find
another tree.

I may have to do the same with this bird. Maybe it
will settle down after it finds a mate? Maybe I'll
just have to learn to sing back to it? How's this:

beep! beep! beep!, whoo whoo whoo, Eeyore Eeyore
Eeee-yore!

:)
