"Cosmos & Creation" Lecture Series Features Experts on Evolution,
Ecology This Weekend

A scientist turned policy advisor and an Iona College professor of
physics will speak at Cosmos & Creation, Loyola's annual symposium
addressing the relationship of science and theology, on June 4 and 5.

Eric A. Fischer, Senior Specialist, Congressional Research Service,
will address "Sex on the Coral Reef - The Evolution of Mating
Systems," in Knott Hall B03 on Friday, June 4, at 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday, June 5, Fischer will discuss, "Does Evolution Matter?
Perspectives of a Scientist Turned Policy Advisor," in Knott Hall B03
at 10:30 a.m.

Iona College Physics Professor Robert Novak, C.F.C., will speak on
"The Astronomical Search for the Origins of Life - and Life Itself -
in the Solar System," in the Hopkins Court Lounge, Saturday, June 5,
at 1:15 p.m.
