[Chat] prostitutes

I've never heard anyone mention this on either Discussion or Chat list,
but this is something I notice every night on my way home.  Are the
scantily-clad women each night (hanging out on corners, looking at each
car passing by) in the 2100-2300 blocks of Calvert prostitutes?  Or is
there a club nearby?  Or is that area chock-full of a scantily-clad
young adult female demographic?  
 
Or am I in denial?
