There are several beagle rescue groups, but this one is the closest. If you type "beagle rescue" into Google or Yahoo, you'll get a list of groups. (There's another one in New Jersey.) I advocate giving the beagles to such a group, because beagles can be a bit tricky. They wander. They're good hunting dogs (sorry). I think they do well in a country-type setting. A group that specializes in beagles may be best positioned to find them a forever home.

P.S. FYI, there's a rescue organization for virtually every type of purebred dog and cat, and most have websites by now.
