[Chat] car window repair

The regulator on my car window has disengaged and needs to be remounted. 
Does anyone have experience dealing with a similar problem? Most of the 
automotive glass services around town only replace glass and won't touch the 
regulator (power window motor). I would appreciate any
suggestions.
