Blankhas anyone ever had a successful defamation lawsuit?

seems the judge thought mine had no merit. don king can have a news conference telling the world he is suing CNN for defamation( i'm not sure what was said or how it negatively impacted his life) but i can't sue a facility that accused me of doing something illegal, filed a report with the police and state's attny's office, but it has no merit. what did i do wrong that don king didn't do besides not having any money?
