Thanks for posting the link. I wonder if Matthew in Charles Village's last 
name is Weinstein.

Hearing references to Baltimore as a ghetto bothers me because doctors are 
supposed to exhibit compassion. For several years I would DJ an annual 
farewell party for PhD candidates affiliated with
JHU. At one party they actually performed a skit about life around the 
medical campus. The rule among the group was to avoid making eye contact 
with people on the street. What they didn't realize was this is offensive to 
the 99% of the population who had no interest in harming them. It's just 
like approaching a crowded bus stop and locking your car doors.

Coincidentally, one thing both Baltimore and Seattle share in common is a 
reputation for heroin problems.
