hi sarah,
i wouldn't mind volunteering for the fair. I am not good with children;s activities. I have helped out the past 2 years. I worked the information table and something else i can't remember what.

  ENROLL NOW FOR SUMMER PROGRAMS

  The Village Learning Place is now accepting applications for our 2005 Summer 
  Programs.  For more information, pick up a program brochure at the circulation 
  desk of the VLP Library!  Space is limited so act fast!

  VOLUNTEERS NEEDED ~ Charles Village Festival - Saturday, 6/4 and Sunday, 6/5

  We need volunteers to help during the Charles Village Festival on Saturday, June 
  4th and Sunday, June 5th.  The VLP will have terrific children's activities, a 
  book sale table, and VLP information table at the VLP Community tent!

  Whether you're an individual or can bring a group, we need your help!  Please 
  email or call April (410-235-2210, x203 / volunteer at villagelearningplace.org) if 
  you can help with one (or two!) of these shifts.

  Here are the shifts you can volunteer to help with:

  Saturday, June 4th

  9am-12pm ~ be a part of the VLP float in the Parade, meet us at 22nd and St. 
  Paul Street at the VLP float!

  10am-2pm ~ help with children's activities, the book sale, or the VLP info table
  12pm-4pm
  4pm-8pm

  Sunday, June 5th

  10am-2pm ~ help children's activities, the book sale, or the VLP info table
  12pm-4pm
  3pm-7pm

  **Except for the parade, park on the street around the Wyman Park Dell and 
  check-in with April (VLP coordinator) or another VLP staff member at the VLP 
  Community tent!

  VOLUNTEERS NEEDED ~ Garden Work Days

  Help us make our garden even more beautiful.  We need help with watering and 
  weeding.  Join us on Saturday, May 28 from 10am-Noon to  clean up the garden in 
  preparation for the Charles Village Garden Walk on Sunday, June 5th.  An 
  experienced gardener will be present.
  ** To volunter in the garden on other days or times, contact April at
