[Chat] Lantern Parade

Last night I went to the Great Halloween Lantern Parade in Patterson Park. 
Hundreds of people
carried hand decorated lanterns as they paraded towards the pagoda to the 
beat of a samba band and a couple marching bands. Afterwards the Creative 
Alliance presented a silhouette show on a
giant screen accompanied by a live band. The energy was phenomenal...it 
reminded me somewhat
of J'Ouvert at Trinidad's Carnival.
