This house will be open at the same time as the Old Goucher House Tour,
so you may want to a take a quick detour just south of North Avenue:

Eric Hoel's design/rebuild of 1802 St. Paul Street (sold this past year
in the Arts & Entertainment District) will be featured in the FREE
Green House Tour this Sunday (4/23) from 1-3pm. It is part of
Baltimore Green Week. Find out more at: www.BaltimoreGreenWeek.org

The house features radiant floor heat throughout, alternative
room-by-room controlled air-conditioning, salvaged oak flooring from
Second Chance, stairtreads, handrail, and countertops from the original
floor joists (some of the only salvagable parts from the damp, rotting
house when acquired), earthen plaster in the Butler's Pantry, a
reflective roof coating, and passive solar design through use of
multiple skylights and 3-story light shafts that soak the house in
light.

Come check it out and bring your friends!

Eric would like to do more Green rehab projects and expand on the Green
technology and design elements he used here. Please contact us if you
know people interested.
