Why not just go directly to the site: http://sdatcert3.resiusa.org/rp_rewrite/  I keep this bookmarked in my favorites and use it frequently.  Just make sure you choose Baltimore City first - then Property sales.  After that you just define your time frame (I recall that the data base goes back to 1996), choose a street and hit search!!
BTW, if you just do a normal property search by street you get a whole list in street number order - you can then click on individual properties and see when the last three sales occurred (if they were after 1996).   For sales data before 1996 you need to go the Mitchell Courthouse - 6th floor to search the paper files. The SDAT record will at least give your the Liber/Folio for the current owner - you then need to work backwards to get the full title and sales history.  This is what title search companies do every day!!

For example you can see from this record that Gren sold his house in 2005 for $306K - since he bought it well before 1996, you would need to go to 
Liber FMC 6411 Folio 1443  (Liber is the book number and folio the page in the book - FMC are the initials of the current Recorder of Deeds for Baltimore City) to find the information on the previous deed and then using the value of the documentary stamps you can determine the selling price when Gren bought the house.  Most of the recent information is on microfilm - the older stuff is bound in actual books on large shelves.  Public hours are something like 8-4:30.

  You can also access it via the State Dept of Assessments and Taxation website at www.dat.state.md.us.  The relevant link appears at the top of the middle column and reads "Real Property Data Search".
