That's the second violent incident/crime in that area in two weeks or less.

When I work on the computer in my second-floor front, I often see groups of
five to eight boys, 10 to 16 years old, wandering my block at night. 

Is that cause for concern?

Tonight at 9:45pm a gang of 12 teenagers beat and robbed a man in front 
of Margaret Brent Elementary school for his cell phone.  The kids were 
searching for someone to rob in front of the side entrance of 2640 on 
27th Street but gave up and moved down St. Paul because I kept circling 
the block and following them with my headlights to make sure the group 
meeting in the church would be safe coming out.

Ten of them were on foot and two were on bikes.  The officer on the 
scene told me that the man was beaten with a baseball bat one carried.
If you see anything like this group, call it in immediately to 911.
