Thanks for spreading the word on this to our community, Drew. My husband has attended in years past and said it is a very nice service. Our first responders do a tremendous job in this city....we pray for them and our very own firefighter every day!

Subject: [Chat] "Blue Mass" at St. John's

  Hi all,

Tuesday evening, April 22, at 6:30 pm St. John's Church (3009 Greenmount) is hosting the annual Baltimore "Blue Mass," a community-wide service of prayer for police, fire-fighters, and paramedic teams of Baltimore City.

Several city officials and members of these units will be in attendance, and there will be a reception following the service to honor their service to the community. (N.B. The church asks that this be a purely religious occasion for offering prayers and support, not political statements.)

Whatever your religious affiliation or lack thereof, this service will offer beautiful music and an uplifting spirit for the community in the form of a traditional Episcopal Mass.

We'd like to invite the whole community to attend. Please see the attached flier if you are interested and let me know (or contact the church) if you have any questions.

  Yours,

  Drew
