Seems to be an example of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing.
Though the signs say Baltimopre City Police, the orange barricades were placed there
by the Department of Public Works. Of course, getting answers on the weekend is
nearly impossible. That certainly was an unnecessary inconvenience.

Just a follow up from me: I called the police again and they were again not cooperative in looking for information on what this notice about despite the fact that the notice clearly says its from the Baltimore Police Department and threatens towing for the yesterday non-event. Something is very fishy here. I was inconvenienced yesterday not only because the right I have paid for to park in front of my house was taken away but also parking is difficult in this neighborhood anyway and so many of us lost precious parking which we need as residence. Please, lets do something about this.

I believe that the Dept of Transportation handles those notices.  If you like, I will be happy to talk to them about the process and find out which department is responsible for the short notice for follow up purposes.A few members of the CVCA committee on Traffic Calming are also attending Greater Homewood's Neighborhood Institute on Sat 11/15 and we can find out more there as well.In the meantime, it wouldn't hurt for you to send an email of complaint to the Mayor's Office so that you are on record.
