[Chat] Front Porch Friday's & Clean Sweep

Hi everyone,

Just an update for you concerning Clean Sweep and Front Porch Friday initiatives.  I noticed a couple of folks out and about during those Clean Sweep hours.  If you can make it this week...please try and step out.  Again, the schedule is:

MONDAY - 8AM
TUESDAY -9AM
WEDNESDAY-10AM
THURSDAY -3PM
FRIDAY - 4PM

Also, our first Front Porch Friday was a success, in spite of the holiday weekend.  We decorated the porch with candles and had some Christmas music playing...and even had some yummy hot cider for passersby.  We talked to some neighbors who were walking their dogs...had a visit from Daniel, Melissa and Ruth...and I hear that they will be preparing some hot chocolate for their neighbors on Friday.  They are at 2723 Guilford.  In fact, if anyone else will be participating and would like to encourage visitors...post your address and let us know you'll be receiving guests!  We would love to see more activity and encourage our neighbors to stop by and see us at 2712 Guilford.  Remember, FPF's is between 6-7pm every week.  Thank you all and have a safe week!

By the way, as David and I were sitting outside on Friday...three young men began taunting a young woman who was walking N on Guilford.  They were following behind her...saw us with all our candles and promptly left her alone!
