Thank you for sharing your experience with the Chat List.  I am sorry that 
you were attacked by a pit bull two months ago but I am glad to hear that 
the Northern District responded timely and in a manner that resulted in a 
proper resolution.

In response to your complaint about Animal Control, the CVCA Safety 
Committee will take this matter under advisement, and will discuss the scheduling 
of a meeting between interested residents, Animal Control, Northern District 
Police, and CVCBD Safety Staff, about how dog attack incidents are handled 
and whether any improvements are necessary.  We will notify the residents 
when the meeting date is set.

The residents can help in this process by notifying our CVCA President, 
Jennifer Erickson, at cvcapresident at yahoo.com, or me at the email address 
below, if you hear of any other incidents of this type.
