Change in waste collection locations
No alley pick ups due to snow and ice conditions
 
Department of Public Works Director, David E. Scott, announced today that until further notice, rear alley collections will be moved to the front. Citizens who normally have rear collection for their trash and recycling are asked to place contianers in the front of their residences. 
Director Scott explained that, "Due to the heavy snowfall over the weekend, alleys with snow and ice present unsafe conditions for our drivers. Until we can safely resume rear collections, we are asking citizens to place their trash and recycling out in front so our crews can pick them up. We appreciate their cooperation during these unique circumstances." 
Citizens should listen to local media for updates or call 311 for more information.
