Night Out, a National Event promoted by the National Association of Town
Watch.  Charles Village has participated in this program for the last 7

26th Annual National Night Out 

 

America’s Night Out Against Crime 

 

Tuesday, August 4, 2009 from 6:30 to 9 pm  

 
The Charles Village Community Benefits District’s Community Safety Program
will be at the following locations with information concerning Neighborhood
Watch and Walkers programs, home and personal safety. The Northern District
Police, the Mayor’s Office on Crime Watch staff and other dignitaries and
special guests have been invited to stop by with information and safety
tips.  The NNO locations are as follows:


 Calvert Street Park @ 23rd & Calvert Sts. 6:30 -9pm (host: Bowen Nelson,
OGCA)


2746 Maryland Avenue 6:30 – 9pm (host: Sharon Guida, CVCA)



Saint Paul and 25th Streets Café 6:30 – 9pm (host: Terence Dickson, Terra
Café, OGBA)



 2900 Blk. of Guilford Avenue 6:30 – 9pm (host: Sandy Sparks, CVCA)



 Lorraine Avenue and Barclay St. 6:30 -9pm (host: Margo Thomas, HCA)



 The CVCBD will provide FREE FOOD (Hamburgers & Hot Dogs) at each location



 Other food and drinks will be provided pot-luck, so bring your favorite
dish or drinks!  



The CVCBD will provide flyers and pamphlets regarding safety.

  

 

Northern District Police District may stop by with safety tips and
information.
