The future of transit in Baltimore may be beginning this Saturday and you
can be part of it -- and enjoy it.
 
Green Rider, see http://www.greenriderusa.com/, will be opening this weekend
and selling electric scooters. They're having a party on Saturday night to
celebrate.
 
Imagine what a different city Baltimore would be if clean Green Riders
dominated our streets rather than cars:
 
Silent -- no noise pollution
Affordable -- the vast majority of Baltimoreans could afford this transit
Clean -- no air pollution, no run-off for the water, no carbon emissions
Reduced Congestion -- they take up less space on the road
Reduced Bureaucracy -- no registration required, no insurance required
 
In other cities around the world electric scooters dominate, why not the U.S
-- why not Baltimore.  And, if mass transit increases -- as it should --
then these scooters can transport people from their homes to transit centers
where they can take subways, light rail, trolley, busses -- 
 
This could be the beginning of a revolution in transit.
