At old Eastern High School, opposite the Stadium YMCA on 33rd Street, there are large, mostly unused parking lots.

i was looking for advice on places in the area that might be good for
teaching a beginner driver including

a) big vacant parking lots (on weekends)
b) wide traffic lanes that aren't very populated--
c) country lanes that aren't heavily traversed

Upper Roland Ave-- as you cross the county line seems a good area w/ some
side neighborhoods w/ big wide streets and most folks parked off-street.
 Any one have any ideas?
