I recommend giving clothing and other items to AMVETS or dropping them off at their store at the corner of Winston and York road in Govans. Unlike Goodwill, AMVETS does not throw away donated items they cannot sell. Plus they make items first available for free to disabled veterans, before putting them on sale to the public.
