Hi Dawna. Claire & 2 months ago we bought a mattress at The Home Store. Best price we could find. We considered all types (and there are many), but we went with a near top of the line Serta pillowtop that was moderate firmness. We could not be happier ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
