My next door neighbor noticed some people get out of a car a proceed to 
assault a tree with a paint gun.
Other neighbors noticed.
A couple of us sat on our front steps to let it be known we see them. 
One neighbor actually went down to where they were and started cleaning 
up debris on the sidewalk near the car in question. Police were call for 
'suspicious' activity. By the time police came, the car had driven off 
but not before tag # obtained. Police caught up with them. I don't think 
having a paint gun is illegal but use ur neighborhood to practice.
Think I'll sit on my front steps more often.
