The Charles Village Garden Walk, held rain or shine, features the
gardens in the North end of the village (north of 29th Street). The
enthusiasm is palpable as many new gardens will be on the tour this
year along with established favorites in the neighborhood. Join us
for the tour which includes many water features, an award winning
wildlife habitat, and long-term plant collections from more than
twenty-five charming private and community gardens.

The self-guided tour gives garden enthusiasts the opportunity to
observe private gardens of varied design in a Victorian neighborhood
near the Johns Hopkins University and the Baltimore Museum of Art.
While some gardens are professionally designed and maintained, most
have evolved over the years and contain many inspirational ideas.

A most welcome feature this year is the informal "beer garden"
provided by the newly established Peabody Heights Brewery. Another
new feature is the Bay-Wise Maryland certification of several
gardens. The gardens will be open for viewing 11am - 4pm Sunday June
3rd.

Voucher Sales

The Garden Walk Map/Guide purchased on June 2nd/3rd will cost $12.00.
On Saturday June 2nd, vouchers will not be on sale at the Farmer's
Market. Instead, you can purchase them at the Festival from 11am
onward at the Garden Walk Booth for $12.00 per ticket. Also, tickets
are available for purchase in advance through Brown Paper Tickets.

At 11am the day of the Garden Walk, turn in vouchers at the Garden
Walk Booth in exchange for the Garden Walk Map/Guide.
