Hauntingdon V: End of the World is Baltimore's premier family-friendly Halloween block party extravaganza! It takes place Saturday, October 27, 2012, from 5pm-8pm, on Huntingdon Ave. between 29th St. and 30th St, in Remington, Baltimore's most up-and-coming neighborhood!

Dozens of decorated porches provide fun trick-or-treating spots for kids to engage in activities, centered around this year's theme: End of the World , with a special emphasis on the environment. Join Haunty, the GIANT CRAB, freshly risen from the Chesapeake, in a kid's costume parade! Watch mesmerized as John Hopkins' renowned Entertainer's Club & their fire dancers gleefully prance to live music of local favorites Ricky and Lennon La Ricci! Explore the decrepit Haunted Sewers of Old Remington as their slime covered walls shift before your eyes!

Sponsored by GRIA - the Greater Remington Improvement Association - this year's Hauntingdon is bigger than ever before! A community driven event, Hauntingdon provides a fun, free, and safe place for children of all ages to enjoy Halloween. Artwork and decorations made by Remington youth created in the community-run Porch Art weekly workshops is prominently featured, but grown-ups aren't left out of the fun! In the months leading up to Hauntingdon, crafting sessions are held throughout the community.

Hauntingdon would not be possible without this year’s sponsors: MECU, Walmart*, Charm City Cakes, Meet 27, the Dizz, BoPA, & Seawall Development, Corporation!
