for a cool event: "Day to Play" in Remington.  It's sponsored
by Greater Homewood and costs $15.  Details below.

Join us for the 2nd Annual Day to Play on Saturday, May 11 from
2pm-5pm in Wyman Park. Tickets are $15 ($10 for Remington residents).
Enter to win our first ever Race Thru Remington, enjoy all day field
games, kids activities, biking, food, and music. Finish the day at a
free after party at 27th & Sisson from 5pm-9pm with live local music,
food trucks, and beer from Peabody Heights Brewery. REGISTER ONLINE or
pay at the door. Free parking is available in the lots at Stieff
Silver and Boy Scouts of America, located across Sisson St. from the
ball fields.
