Join us for the annual Holiday Artisan Market, a pop up shop of local
artisans and artists who will be selling their handmade goods. A portion of
the proceeds will benefit the Village Learning Place.

*November 13, 2019 6:30–8:30 pm**
* Note the time, which differs from other 2nd Wednesdays events.

Please note:

   - Refreshments will be served in the library.
   - 2nd Wednesdays Committee members will be available to help you get
   home safely. See a Committee member on Wednesday for assistance.

Coming Up at the VLP

   - *Benefit Baltimore Market* — Shop, eat, and drink for a cause this
   Giving Tuesday. The Beneft Baltimore Market is a pop-up makers market. A
   percentage of the proceeds will benefit local nonprofits, including the
   Village Learning Place. Beer and food will be available to purchase.
      - December 3, 6–9pm, *Peabody Heights Brewery (401 E 30th St.)*
   - *December 2nd Wednesdays*— *Camerata Musica *will perform acapella
   holiday music.
      - December 11, 7–9pm


*Love 2nd Wednesdays? Join the Planning Committee!*
2nd Wednesdays Committee members Shirley and Jan (middle, right) and
volunteer Gil (left) at a recent program.
*2nd Wednesday Committee Member responsibilities:*

   - Attend 2nd Wednesdays programs when available
   - Bring an appetizer or a dish to share
   - Attend planning meeting 4 times per year (weekday mornings)
   - Seek out local talent a coordinate 2nd Wednesdays presentations
   - Periodically introduce presenters at 2nd Wednesdays programs and give
   closing remarks
   - Promote 2nd Wednesdays in the community
