were made without ,out of courtesy, letting the surrounding community 

know.  people who live behind melba's,on Brentwood av, have been having 

much problems with loud music coming from the back of the building. phone calls 

to the establishment have not resolved the issue. the police have been called 

but still no improvement.</EM></STRONG></DIV>

<DIV><STRONG><EM>for those not familiar with melba's, it is a club on greenmount 

av. years ago it was the primary music venue caught up in the live entertainment 

issue. they cater to an older crowd.</EM></STRONG></DIV>

<DIV><STRONG><EM>thee is a strict dress code. melba's is a bid improvement from 

'phase 3' where an employee was killed.</EM></STRONG></DIV>

<DIV><STRONG><EM>even though melba's is an improvement from phase 3 it still 

needs to work with the community,especially if there are problems, no matter how 

small to some.</EM></STRONG></DIV>

<DIV><STRONG><EM>the owner will be at the main street office, monday evening. he 

will meet with community people who have any concerns.</EM></STRONG></DIV>

<DIV><STRONG><EM>418 e 32nd st. if those folks living in the immediate area 

could attend, it would be a big help to the residents on Brentwood 

av.</EM></STRONG></DIV>
