style='font-family:Arial'>CPHA and our many allies won a major victory when
the City Council approved a new inclusionary housing policy for <st1:City
w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Baltimore</st1:place></st1:City>!</span></font></b></strong>
Now that demand for homes in <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Baltimore</st1:place></st1:City> is
increasing, this bill says we are going to chart a new course. We
are not going to allow the supply of new homes to be limited to
prices of $300,000 and above, pushing lower-income, long-time residents
to the most distressed areas of the city. Rather, the bill establishes
a framework to ensure a supply of homes at all income levels in
developments of 30 or more homes. That way the doctor, the
nurse, and the home health aide -- the principal, teacher, and
school custodian can all benefit from <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Baltimore</st1:place></st1:City>'s
resurgence.</span></font><o:p></o:p></p>

our neighborhood streets. Right now evictions clutter our streets more
than 7,000 times each year, consuming more than $800,000 in taxpayer money to

June 19, at 4:00 pm, </span></font></b></strong>City Councilman Kenneth N.
Harris, Sr. will hold a <strong><b><font face=Arial><span style='font-family:

face=Arial><span style='font-family:Arial'>"Clean Streets" bill,</span></font></b></strong>
sponsored by him and other councilmembers, that would stop this embarrassing
