<p>What: Waverly BookFest</p>
<p>When: Saturday, September 15, 2007 11 AM-4 PM</p>
<p>Where: Waverly Branch of the EPFL, 400 E. 33rd Street</p>
<p>Brought to you by the Friends of the Waverly Branch. Proceeds to
support the Waverly Branch.</p>
<p>Programming and activities for adults, teens and children. Also
Book Sale, Bake Sale, Silent Auction and Book Appraisals. Maryland's
Poet Laureate Michael S. Glaser will be leading the adult programming,
Warrior Poetess Tonya Maria Matthews aka JaHipster will be leading the
teen workshop and poetry jam. Stories and activities for the children.
Fun for all ages. Registration required for teen programming as space
is limited to 50 participants. Forms for registration will be available
at the Waverly Branch Circulation Desk. Free book appraisals limited to
the first 25 people and you must register at the branch during the
event prior to 2 PM.</p>
<p>We still need the following:</p>
<p>1. Books for the Book Sale (good condition, no text books). A bin
is located in the Waverly Branch lobby for donations.</p>
<p>2. Volunteers to bake for the Bake Sale</p>
<p>3. Donations for the Silent Auction</p>
<p>4. Volunteers to help us staff the event Saturday, September 15th
and the evening before to set up.</p>
