Thanks for getting the information. It is consistent with what I have
heard from Celeste Amato who is the City official in charge of
informing the public about One Plus One.

By the way, there may be some blocks that need to make special
arrangements about trash and recycling (for example where the alley is
very narrow and there is not sufficient room to put out a trash can
while leaving room for a trash truck to drive by it). Celeste Amato
said that people on such blocks should contact her:

Telephone:

One reason that One Plus One will not go into effect until July 14 is
to give people time to get out the bugs. Some of our blocks such as
mine will simply have a change to only one trash pickup per week and
recycling pickup every week, and others such as yours will also have a
change in where recycling is picked up. But there may be more serious
changes to work out, and Celeste Amato has promised to work them out
with the people affected.
hi steve... i called 311 today regarding the pick up location
for recycling i.e. whether it would continue
to be curbside on our block (2900 guilford ave).

according to the person i talked to the new plan is that trash
and recycling will both be picked up at the location where trash is
picked up now...

this means a change for our block and probably some others. zora
