If you would go out to your audience and tell them that Heart's Place
Shelter on 27th Street, located in the basement of St. John's United
Methodist Church needs money and they need it now. This shelter, as
addressed in Mobtown Beat is one of the best run shelters in the city
and provides a home for 20 people during the winter season. The people
who work there make poverty wages and the founder Carol Berman and her
late husband have been operating this facility since 1988. While I
consider Carol Berman to be the "Wonder Woman" of Baltimore keeping the
facility open, she can't do it all by herself and now she needs
financial support to keep it open.<br>

Please read the artilce in the City Paper, under Mobtown Beat and read
for yourself what the guests say about Heart's Place Shelter. I will
give Carol Berman a computer for her use, as well as other furniture
that she needs to continue her wonderful work, and we have contributed
to this continually since we arrived in Baltimore 10 years ago.
Without this facility, at least 20 people per night will suffer in the
cold streets of Baltimore and may not be able to survive. There are
young and old who attend this facility, male and female and they need
you help now.<br>
