The following is the Sun article about the arrests in the recent
robberies and carjackings in Charles Village and Remington. There
are still a lot of details that we do not know, and not all of the
recent armed robberies have been confessed to. I do not know
anything about whether the recent robbery is Waverly has been
solved. Continue to be very careful.<br>
<br>
If the juveniles who committed the robberies and carjackings are
charged as adults, as I hope and expect that they will be since guns
were used at least in the robberies (I know little about the
carjackings), I will of course follow the court proceedings and will
probably attend the trials. Juvenile proceedings are closed to the
public, and information about them is generally not revealed to the
public. I will report on whatever information comes my way.<br>

<p>Police have arrested two juveniles in a series of robberies and
carjackings in the Remington and Charles Village areas.</p>
<p>After receiving reports of a rash of incidents in recent weeks
and recovering a stolen car on Exeter Hall Avenue, the Regional
Auto Theft Task Force began paying closer attention to the area,
said Anthony Guglielmi, the department's chief spokesman.</p>
<p>Task force members located two more stolen vehicles and
arrested two juveniles, one of whom confessed to several of the
crimes, Guglielmi said. He did not release their names.</p>
<p>Judith A. Kunst, president of the Greater Remington Improvement
Association, praised police for giving updates at a recent
community meeting.</p>
<p>"There was a lot of concern in the neighborhood — these were
occurring at 6:30, 7 o'clock at night," she said.</p>
<p>Guglielmi said the investigation was continuing.</p>
