Police arrived about 10 minutes after the 911<br>call. I saw them wheel the man away on a stretcher.<br>He was conscious and lifted his head. I could see<br>blood on his legs. Somebody heard him joke that he<br>thinks he won't be going to work tomorrow.<br><br>Guilford at 31st is taped off as a crime scene and<br>the police just asked everyone to go inside.<br>Nobody we talked to saw the attacker.<br><br>We have a friend who moved next door just a week<br>ago. She came to Charles Village to find a
safer<br>neighborhood.
