The Baltimore Get Down and the BNote are throwing a big birthday party for the BNote's first birthday this Friday night at St. John's Church from 7-11pm. $10 or 10BN at the door. Cash bar, raffle, dancing, a cambio (BNote/US dollar exchange), and a good time for a good cause. Get a sitter and bring some friends.<BR>

It was put it into circulation a year ago by a bunch of fantastic and dedicated people and now there are over 150 businesses accepting BNotes in Baltimore and $25,000 in circulation in our city! Community currencies strengthen local economies by encouraging people to spend their money at local businesses. <BR>
