<P class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; FONT-FAMILY: ">I am writing to you regarding a service learning project that the Village Learning Place’s 5<SUP>th</SUP> & 6<SUP>th</SUP> graders are ‘cooking’ up this summer. As part of a LINK Summer enrichment class, our students have been learning about social issues such as homelessness and hunger. The class has decided to host a bake sale to benefit Share Our Strength. All funds raised will be donated to help end childhood hunger, both locally and nationally.</SPAN></P>

<P class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; FONT-FAMILY: ">The bake sale is taking place on <B><I>Thursday, July 25 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at two locations: Village Learning Place Library at 2521 St. Paul Street and PNC Bank on 25<SUP>th</SUP> Street (across from Safeway near VLP). </I></B>The students hope to raise at least <B><I>$500,</I></B> but they need your help! </SPAN></P>
