
<html><head><style type='text/css'>p { margin: 0; }</style></head><body><div style='font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000'>Are you looking to dispose of any of the following hazardous materials? <BR><BR>•Oil-based paints (latex paint is not hazardous and can be thrown out normally) <BR>•Pesticides <BR>•Herbicides <BR>•Car or household batteries <BR>•Drain cleaners <BR>•Gasoline <BR>•Pool chemicals <BR><BR>These items, among many others, are all hazardous materials and they must be disposed of properly. Dangerous to our health and/or to the environment, these materials should not be thrown out with your normal trash. <BR><BR>Baltimore City will be collecting hazardous waste on Friday, September 6th, and Saturday, September 7th. If you are looking to dispose of any of those materials, now is your chance. <BR><BR>Unfortunately, certain items cannot be collected by this program including asbestos, ammunition, fire extinguishers, industrial and medical wastes, and radioactive materials like smoke alarms with a radioactive symbol. <BR><BR>Hazardous waste disposal is a service provided only to Baltimore City residents. Residents must show proof of residency and must be able to identify the item/s they are disposing. Additionally, businesses and private haulers cannot use this service and must contact a certified vendor to dispose of any hazardous wastes. <BR><BR>Hazardous waste drop-offs will be held: <BR><BR>Friday, September 6th <BR>Saturday, September 7th <BR>9:00am – 5:00pm <BR>Northwest Citizens Convenience Center <BR>2840 Sisson St <BR>Baltimore, MD 21265 <BR><BR>Future drop-off days: <BR>Friday, October 4th <BR>Saturday, October 5th <BR>9:00am – 5:00pm <BR><BR></div></body></html>
