PUBLIC PRESENTATION NOTICE

WEDNESDAY MAY 5, 2004

7:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Baltimore Museum of Art

Meyerhoff Auditorium

10 Art Museum Drive



The Baltimore City Department of Transportation will conduct a Public
Presentation to show current concepts for the reconstruction of Charles
Street between 25th Street and University Parkway.  Preliminary concepts for
the following two options will be presented, including plans, typical
sections, and landscaping:

§       Median Only option
§       Median with East Service Drive option

The City will identify one of these two concepts as the City Preferred
Alternative.

Preliminary plans of these concepts will be available for public viewing on
the project website (www.CharlesStreet.mdprojects.com) beginning in late
April 2004.

The Agenda for the May 5th Public Meeting is:

                6:00 PM Doors open and displays available for public review
for Questions and

Answers

                7:00 PM City presentation on the two concepts and Preferred
Alternative

                7:30 PM Open Forum for Questions and Answers and receipt of
written Public

Comments about the two concepts.

                9:00 PM Adjournment

Mailed written Public Comments received prior to May 15, 2004 will also be
evaluated by the City.
