Leaf collection to begin in Baltimore tomorrow

City leaf collection will begin tomorrow, with trash crews picking
up bagged leaves on the second residential trash collection day each
week. The service will continue through Jan. 31.

Crews also will pick up bags of leaves in heavily wooded areas of
the city Sundays from Nov. 21 to Dec. 19, according to an
announcement from the Department of Public Works.

Residents can drop off bags of leaves between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Monday through Saturday at the solid-waste yards at 6101 Bowleys
Lane and 2840 Sisson St. Starting Dec. 6, a third solid-waste yard
at 701 Reedbird Ave. will accept leaves.
