How very interesting! I would have loved to attend your meeting! Joel and
I have been busy preparing our own house for sale; otherwise I would have
joined you. If our house isn't sold by July 12, I'd be happy to host the
3049 Guilford Ave.

Many thanks to those that attended our inaugural meeting of the CV Old House
Enthusiasts group! I think we are off to a good start, and the five of us
that met and toured all seemed to learn quite a bit from each others
experiences in renovating and decorating their houses.
Among other things, we learned a bit about coal fireplaces, vent shafts,
false fireplaces, pocket doors, bookcases and wet bars, all over a nice
glass of cooling wine. We also began an exchange of left over architectural
features with one another!
We'll try to meet every month, on the second Tuesday; the next meeting being
the evening of July 12th; anyone care to host and offer a tour of their
house, a particular project, or renovation effort? It can be a work in
progress, a completed project, or even just a general tour.
