[Chat] mosquitos?

Hello Neighbors,
   
  Last Summer, I was eaten alive in my backyard by mosquitos.  Is this a general issue in the CV area?  I'm located near 27th and Calvert.  I was talking to a co-worker who lives in Locust Point.  He has no mosquito issues and he's much closer to water.  I'm curious if my issue is localized.  Any thoughts?
