The MARYLAND HUMANITIES COUNCIL presents
"The Baltimore I Knew: A Living History Roundtable"

Four famous Baltimoreans will return from the nineteenth and twentieth
centuries on Thursday, October 5, at 7:00 PM at the Baltimore Museum of
Art's Meyerhoff Auditorium to join WYPR talk show host Marc Steiner in a
lively discussion about the joys and challenges of living in Charm City.

Sponsored by the Maryland Humanities Council, "The Baltimore I Knew: A
Living History Roundtable" is an interactive event that will bring together
H. L. Mencken, Edgar Allan Poe, Thurgood Marshall, and Zelda Fitzgerald to
provide their perspectives on issues of the past that Baltimoreans still
revisit today.

The program is FREE and open to the public. You may pre-register by
completing an online form at www.mdhc.org/new/060912.htm, or by calling
410-685-0095. Doors will open to the general public at 6:45 PM.
Pre-registrants will be admitted beginning at 5:45 PM.
