There is an appliance store on Pennsylvania Ave. Over at the intersection if Gwyn fall, I think they fix things up and then resell them. Maybe they would take it?

Subject: [Chat] any ideas for recycling a broken washing machine

Hi all: I had to replace my washing machine and the store that I bought it
from told me that it will simply trash the broken one. Does anyone have
any suggestions for where I might bring the old one to be recycled? I can't
bear the thought of contributing to a landfill with this appliance. Thanks
so much, Dawna
