Hi,

Judy, if that happens again, please call me -- I was
still up at 11:30 and could've helped dig a new spot.
Also, Justin's doing the 3 to 11 pm shift this week --
maybe we could arrange a carpool? Most folks have been
absolutely great during the last few days -- offering
to share milk and homemade bread when Eddie's had
none, digging out parking spots, etc. Even the kids
from the Barclay Rec Center who borrowed snowshovels
brought them back as promised. I hope that a few
dingbats don't ruin the great spirit of the community.

I had some not-so-nice situations too, for example the
Verizon truck that blocked all access to the alley,
the dingbat who used a plow to create access to
his/her garage and block everyone else in with a
mountain of snow, and the dingbat who assumed I put
snow in front of his/her gate when I had very
carefully carried it all the way across the alley,
past parked cars to the grass on the other side. When
I wasn't there, other people did put snow in front of
the gate so dingbat threw it in front of my garage.

But hey that's three dingbats out of 100+ great people
that I've interacted with in the last week.
Definitely, the overall feeling of the neighborhood is
totally awesome!

And Sarah, I would imagine that most of the snow will
be gone after the weekend so I don't think you have to
worry about people reserving spots for a month. Thanks
so much for respecting their hard work.

:)
