[Chat] CV Historic District

Simple question: 
 
Is there a local design review committee for alterations or new  construction 
within the boundaries of the CV Historic District, or are all  design reviews 
done at the city level? As a DC transplant, I'm trying to  figure out the 
differences in historic district review.    
 
(In DC, local groups located within the specific HD hold design review  
sessions, then recommends their findings to a city wide  Historic Preservation 
Review Board, as do other, elected entities,  such as the Advisory Neighborhood 
Commissioners).
